DFA becomes one of Gamesa's largest shareholders alongside Spanish utility Iberdrola, which has 19.6%, and Blackrock Inc which holds 4.9%. Gamesa is the great Spanish manufacturer of wind turbines.
Former California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger acquired through its investment fund 3 percent of the Spanish wind energy company.
The fund Dimensional Fund Advisor (DFA) reported a 3.02% participation in wind power company Gamesa. Among the investors in the fund is the actor and former governor of California Arnold Schwarzenegger.
This makes the U.S. firm's fourth largest shareholder in the Spanish manufacturer of wind turbines, in which Iberdrola controls 19.6%, 4.9% BlackRock and Management Limited, 3.3%. DFA states the possession of 7.47 million shares in Gamesa.
