Some facts on Climate


Between 1980 and 2014, the US experienced 178 extreme weather events that each caused more $1 billion in damages.

14 of the last 16 years are the warmest on record globally. It’s been more than 100 years since the coldest year on record.

Atmospheric carbon dioxide levels reached 400 parts per million in 2013. That’s higher than any level the earth has experienced in more than 1 million years.
